BRC are pleased to announce that in 2013 our End of Season tour will be to Argentina!

This tour will coincide with the Wallabies and All Blacks playing the Argies in Buenos Aires on consecutive weekends in late September/early October. In between that we’ll spend 9 days traversing the countryside playing 3 games and enjoying the best hospitality that Argentina has to offer!

Details will be announced at the end of this month which will allow you about 15 months of saving.

The muzzled wolves return to Blackmore Park; the home of the Muzzled Wolves for Old Balmainians Day and a the top of the table Baraclough Cup clash against Oatley.

So far this season Balmain Rugby Club remains undfeated in our top 3 grades and this Saturday promises to be a belter against Oatley who remain undefeated in 1st grade.

The BBQ will be firing, the beers will be cold and the action on the pitch will be sensational.

The day kicks off at 9:45am with 5th grade. 1st grade starts at 3:15pm. Hope to see you there.

Its back and bigger than ever – get on board the Balmain Rugby Incentive Tour to the 2012 Bledisloe Cup in Brisbane!

Just like we did in 2010, the Balmain Rugby Committee are hosting a free, yes that’s right – free, trip to the 2012 Bledisloe Cup in Brisbane. Special thanks to all our sensational sponsors that make this opportunity possible for BRC players!

The good news is that this season it will be a little different. Not only will we be sending the top 15 players that play the most number of games for 1st grade but we will also be sending another 20 players who play the most number of games in the lower grades. That means 35 Balmain Rugby players will be heading to Brisbane for Free!

We will explain exactly how to get on board that flight at pre-season in January so do yourself a favour and get down to Balmain Rugby.

Saturday mornings throughout summer – Camo’s Hour of Power starts! 9:30am – meet at Clovelly Beach for 60 minutes of running, swimming and a little touch on the side.

Sunday 15 January 2012 at 4pm – Sunday Arvo touch at Birchgrove Oval starts.

Tuesday 17 January 2012 – pre-season training starts.

Saturday 18 February 2012 – Twenty20 Cricket – ground TBC

Saturday 25 February 2012 – Kiama 7s

Saturday 17, 24, 31 March 2012 – Trials commence

Sunday 1 April 2012 – Pub Golf

Saturday 7 April 2012 - Easter weekend off

Balmain Rugby has locked in the 2011 Gold Coast Sevens for their End of Season Trip (EOST) for the weekend of 25 & 26 November 2011.

See your coach or Jason Leplaw for details.

Basic itinerary will be:

Friday 25 Nov – fly up to the gold coast and check into your apartment. Afternoon of beach footy, a swim in the ocean and then head to Skilled Park in the evening for the Sevens.

Saturday 26 Nov – roll out of bed, cooked breakie on Caval Ave before heading to the Sevens for a big afternoon of entertainment on and off the pitch. Night out on the Gold Coast!

Sunday 27 Nov – head back to Sydney.

What a great season for our top two grades in 2010.  If you’re looking for a run why not join the premiers in 2011. Players wanted all season long.
