Businessmens Lunch
The Club’s now legendary sports and business networking lunch again followed in the footsteps of our historic an inaugural event of 2008.
Whilst the club is well known for it’s highly successful and thriving social culture, our annual networking lunch is aimed at broadening the clubs reach to business and providing a forum for the many professional and successful business men and women who surround the CBD and Balmain area who could gain value from the networking opportunities the event provides.
This year was again a sell out event which raised some $25,000 for Junior Rugby Development. Speakers included former ALP power broker and political lobbyist Graham Richardson as MC, whilst comedian Mick Meredith and sports identities and renowned luncheon speakers Phil “Gus”Gould and Shane “Brett’s brother” Lee held court with their colourful recount of old stories and belly ache laughing wit.
Those that have attended can attest that this is a premium event and as such is firmly fixed in the clubs annual event calendar.
